Itā€™s about time for notifications

Release Date: August 16, 2023

The first release for the second half of 2023 contains some nice improvements.

Notify the end-user when the key return is late.

You can now configure LivionKey to send notifications and recurrent reminders to the contact person if the key has yet to be returned.

Introducing the New API Interface for iLOQ S5 Keys with EM Edition

Our team has been working hard at developing a new API interface specifically designed for iLOQ S5 keys. Initially, this interface will support managing key automation and key contracts related to iLOQ S5 keys stored within the LivionKey EM edition.

Flexible grouping for field devices

Users can now freely group field devices together. While this feature is mainly used for API usage, it can also help to group some key automation in the LivionKey manager.

Improvements and Fixes

  • Security updates: We are always looking to improve security for our customers. Once again, we have made some updates that make LivionKey even more secure.
  • Disabled the Handover button in the Handover dialogue when in the loading state.
  • Corrected devices autocompletion.
  • Resolved import data issue.
  • Corrected key register verification type for contracts that have fetched device settings.
  • Fixed an overlap check on shared key contracts.
  • Restricted the addition of mechanical and iloq keys into the same contract.
  • Addressed issue where the open docker modal is empty if the device is offline and there are no keys.
  • Performance: Eliminated unnecessary contract updates.

Bulk Import and Deletion of Buildings and Keys

We have introduced the ability for users to conveniently import and delete multiple buildings and keys. For detailed instructions and more information, consult the following resources:

Updated Handover Key View

The new Handover view includes the following improvements:

  • Immediate error display when a key is unavailable within the selected date range, without waiting for user action
  • Option to choose between handing over a key from an automated system or manual storage (requires key automation installation in your organization)
  • Enhanced contact suggestions
  • Ability to update existing contact information directly from the Handover Key view by searching, selecting, editing, and updating the contact

New Organization View

To simplify navigation and management, we have organized organization settings into separate tabs, making it easier to locate and modify settings.

Enhanced Building Usage View with Custom Date Range Filter

Users can now select a custom date range for the Building Usage view.

Real-time Updates for Keys and Field Devices Views

We have been diligently working on implementing a real-time updates feature for the LivionKey Manager application. This enhancement eliminates the need to manually refresh the application views. When any user updates keys, the view will update automatically. Additionally, when someone retrieves a key from the key automat, the change will be instantly visible in both the field devices and key views.

  • Implemented the ability to define an external helper link for added convenience.
  • Enhanced end-to-end tests with real-time event detection for state changes.
  • Added support for updating customer IDs.
  • Introduced a contacts list feature.
  • Enabled real-time updates for the device view.
  • Allowed the handover of returned keys that are part of active contracts.
  • Resolved an issue with creating extra streams during rerender in real-time events.
  • Fixed contract contact language being ignored when accessing the Telia authentication system.
  • Corrected the default language code for Swedish.
  • Addressed the receive key view default language issue.
  • Ensured error avoidance by verifying the existence of contracts and contacts.
  • Implemented automatic Telia SIM subscription update support.
